EL Niño

An opera-oratorio composed by John Adams that explores the understanding of what is meant by a miracle. The piece combines the traditional elements of Baroque and Classical oratorios with Adams’ minimalist and post-minimalist style, drawing parallels between biblical accounts of events in the Nativity narrative and contemporary events.
